“I recently made the move out of practice and into industry. At the time of looking for my new role, I was in touch with a number of recruiting agencies and I very quickly learned that a large number of them are (so it seems) out to place you as quickly as possible into any job they have going that ‘kind of’ suits your profile. They bombard you with phone calls and roles that aren’t what you want to do and in some instances are actually exactly what you told them you didn’t want to do! Prior to the interview he fully briefed me on the role, the people that would be interviewing me some questions I could expect to be asked. I felt fully prepared when I walked into the interview and had no nasty surprises during the process as everything had been explained to me up front.

I only applied for one job with Chris – and I got it. And it is hands down the best job I could have hoped to get at this stage in my career. I feel very lucky to have got it and I genuinely don’t see myself moving on for a very long time (if ever).

“I have known Chris for over 22 years and he has helped me recruit for a number of Financial Controller / Management Accountant roles.
