It has over 50% share in the global market for advanced mobile communications materials and is rapidly growing in its other markets. IQE plc maintains its position by continual design and development of advanced products. Organic growth and acquisition has led to this newly created, high profile role which will provide support throughout the group, and is part of a succession planning strategy.

The Senior Group Finance Manager will work closely with the Group Financial Controller, Finance and Operations Managers, and have exposure to the Main Board. Overall responsibilities will include business performance analysis, development of management information, financial reporting, budgeting, and ad hoc project work. The role will also ensure strong internal controls, coordinate internal audit and be the key contact for the global finance teams.
Specific duties will encompass:-Preparing consolidated budgets, management accounts, forecasts and ad hoc analysis to support Board reporting; statutory and regulatory financial reporting including the Annual Report; ensuring high integrity of all financial information; and supporting treasury, working capital and foreign exchange management across the group.
You will be expected to make a significant contribution to the continual development of:-Management information to support improved operational and financial performance; group tax planning and global tax compliance; and development of the role. Other duties will include acting as main contact for external auditors; and leading/supporting ad hoc project work with multidisciplinary teams throughout global operations. Some travel is envisaged with this role.
