This recruitment is part of succession planning to Finance Director in the mid-term.

Working closely with the MD and CFO, you will be the primary contact with the European Group. Supported by a sizeable Finance team, your responsibilities will include:-

•             Ensuring accuracy of all reporting to agreed timetables and compliance

with internal policy, GAAP and IFRS

•             Ensuring continuous improvement of finance department processes

•             Management, coaching and mentoring of the finance department

•             Deputising for the Finance Director

You should be a technically strong and commercially aware Senior Manager with experience of Transactions or Business Services and whose clients are in the manufacturing/engineering sector; or an ACA already in industry as an Internal Auditor, Financial or Management Accountant in manufacturing and seeking your first Financial Controllership. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the drive to achieve, an ability to influence outcomes, and the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team. Experience of aerospace manufacturing is highly desirable but not essential.
