rotork-logoRotork, a FTSE 250 plc with a turnover of £320 million, is a highly successful international engineering group with an enviable track record of growth and profitability. It is the world leader in design, manufacture and support of valve actuators, control systems and related accessories. Aggressive overseas expansion coupled with the development and launch of technically advanced products ensure Rotork maintains market position. As a result of internal promotion and growth, the group now seeks a talented Divisional Finance Director to join the senior management team.

This pivotal role carries strategic, commercial, operational, fiscal, and governance responsibilities for businesses within the division and others external to it. Working with the Divisional Managing Director and Group Finance Director, you will be expected to make a significant contribution to driving improvements in profit, working capital management and overall financial performance. Other key responsibilities will involve projects ranging from systems development to acquisitions and integrations. As part of the management team you will also act as a group wide financial resource.

To be considered for this role you must have worked in a multisite operation and possess international business experience. While a manufacturing/engineering background is desirable and not essential, you must have experience of a stock and supply chain environment. Ideally, you will be an ambitious and self motivated individual who possesses a strong academic record, good professional exam passes and PQE. You will also be able to demonstrate a track record of achievements, sound commercial acumen, technical strength and excellent communication skills. Though based at head office, this is an international role which requires a degree of travel and flexibility. For the right candidate this role offers the opportunity for variety, challenge, interest, autonomy and reward in a soundly run business with a dynamic and cohesive management team.
