Working closely with both the Group Financial Director and Group Financial Controller this role will be diverse, interesting and rewarding. It offers the opportunity to develop and hone your skill set, develop the role itself beyond its current duties and to make contributions to both process improvement and financial performance. The size of the group and its’ collegiate style of working means this role carries a high profile in giving exposure to the Main Board. Responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly group management accounts and consolidations
  • Assisting with budgets, forecasts and profit forecasting
  • Ad hoc analysis and variance reporting
  • Assisting with preparation of year end statutory accounts and year end reporting pack
  • Preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts
  • Assisting with group tax,  VAT and dealing with HMRC
  • Monthly payroll
  • Ad hoc duties include but are not limited to: projects, due diligence, integrations, systems development, treasury and company secretarial.

 

Ideally you will be a recently qualified and ambitious ACA/ACCA from a top 10 firm seeking a career move to industry. Possessing drive, commercial awareness and intermediate to advanced Excel skills; you will be articulate, team oriented, highly motivated and flexible in your approach to work. The ability to use initiative and communicate effectively at all levels is essential as is pride in delivering high standards.
